Other Information About the Data

Use this table to obtain the correct number of developers for a given project. An example query to do this is:

SELECT count(*) FROM sf0507.user_group WHERE group_id = 78745

This will reflect the data displayed on a project's SourceForge page. This data does not appear to be in any table directly.

Notes on this table for July, August, and September 2007

At SourceForge's request, we ran scripts they provided to remove potentially sensitive/personal information from these three schemas. Consequently, the number of projects appearing in this table for the aforementioned schemas is down under 30,000 from the usual 120,000+ projects. Please take this into consideration when using the data in this table.

Further adjustments?

There also strange bumps in December 2005, April 2006, and October 2006. Can you explain why?
